Spending time with this sweet family of 4 in their little Silverlake bungalow was a total dream. They played, cuddled, showed off their skillz, and even sent me home with a bag of freshly picked figs! #BestJobEver. Family sessions at home really have my heart.
I’ve been lucky enough to have been photographing this clan since the big brother, Wyatt was a teeny 3 month old. Seeing him grow into a charming, & hilarious little guy over the past few years has been a total joy for me. And welcoming little sister, Layla, to the mix last year just made everything that much sweeter!
We decided to do our most recent shoot at one of my favorite hiking trails, with miles of the prettiest golden rolling hills where we’d have plenty of space to play and explore. Here are some faves from time together!

I was so pumped when I got the email from Katie saying that she was ready to set up another family session a year after our first one, that I just LOVED. I couldn’t really imagine Oliver getting any cuter that when I first met him but, oooh, he did. Photographing this gang in their new home allowed me to document some the of the sweet day to day moments – like Oliver practicing his new walking skills, playing with the pups, and most importantly, quality time with his biggest fans. Mom & Dad.
I’ve been photographing Kelly and her twins since they were 6 months old and I was just dyying to photograph them on film because, well, look at them! So lovely and with such a time-less style. This sesh is what my photography dreams are made of. Lots of joy & playfulness all in the comfort of home where everyone can just let loose. Here are my favorites from our time together.
What a pleasure it was to hang with this family in their bright beautiful home a couple months back. I have photographed them twice before but now there is a new baby brother in town that just added another level of sweetness. Here are some of my faves from this love-filled & playful sesh!
I had the honor of shooting the sweet couples wedding a while back and was beyond excited when I got the news that they were expecting and wanted me to photograph them as a family of 3! We hung around their new Los Angeles home on a cloudy afternoon, chatted, snapped some photos, and marveled the little perfect human that they made.
For this family sesh, we decided to shoot around their sweet neighborhood of South Pasadena. They often visit this library and then walk down to their favorite old timey soda fountain for ice creams, so that is exactly what we did! This bunch is just as lovely and playful as they look in these photos and I am in love with the nostalgic and Autumn-y feel they exude.
If you don’t believe in fairies or magic, I am pretty sure that hanging with these sisters would change your tune. Both of these beauties glow with creativity and compassion and are also best friends. It was quite inspiring getting to photograph them here in Topanga Canyon (Claire’s bedroom in an Airstream! YES!) surrounded by all of their rescued animals.
You may remember Sam and Finley from our shoot together last year. Well, I was totally in love with that session and just KNEW that I had to do another one when I found out Sam was expecting babe #2. It was such an honor getting to document some of their last days as a family of 3 in and around their home here in Topanga Canon.
I always feel so honored when I get to photograph a new babe as these sessions are always full of such magic, adoration, newness, and PURE love. This shoot, in particular, made my heart melt into a puddle – mainly due to big brother and all of his little snuggles & kisses. I mean, how sweet is he!?
